Go through my old pictures of my 30 plus year career
The original thread was lost in the change over so here it goes again. I have worked as a creature maker and make-up artist for over 30 years and yes I'm still at it. I will never retire. That's death.
So I started going through old pictures and thousands of slides left to go through yet. At first I thought I was missing pictures but then I remembered I took slides in those days or often than not. I pick a scanner for slides up this weekend and then the real good stuff will come out. Still I have found lots of old prints that are pretty neat. They range from Laser Blast-Star Trek-to Ghost Busters and Fright Night. Some things I forgot I even did.
So here's a few to start it off. Have fun with it I have. I plan a picture book with a bit of text and comment later this year. Looking for a publisher now.

That's me on the left hand side about with the hand in her face. I made the hands and puppeteered.

A puppet head made for Return to Salem's Lot

McDuff was a morning kids show back in the 70s. Bob Shiffer of Disney gave this job to me. He was the original make up man that did the Shaggy Dog.

One of my early and most favorite jobs. Being a Trek fan I was in hog heaven thanks to the kindness of Fred Phillips who gave me the job.

the Laser Blast gun built in my apartment in Toluca Lake.

My old Yoda mask I made just after the film came out for a client.

I worked on the Planet of the Apes TV show briefly when I first came to LA. I use to do make up demos at the conventions and sell the appliances. This is me from one of those times in full make up and lace hair pieces.

Me as Kong in the Transamerica commercial during the 84 Olympics.

The Stuff.

Work I did for the Return of the Swamp Thing. That's me trying out the suit.

The appliances I made for Chris's hand in Fright Night where he gets a pencil through the hand. I did Evil Ed's prosthetics and a few other things for the film. I looking for those next but suspect they are in the slides.
That will hold you guys for now. More to come.
