If you’ve been a mask collector for a while, there’s no doubt that you’ve heard the name Sam McCain. Sam began to make monster masks at the young age of 15, and from that point to now his resume in the mask world is most impressive! Whether it was working at Distortions Unlimited in the early days, starting his own company with Horror Sanctum in the 80s, or helping to produce some of the most memorable masks at Don Post Studios, Sam has definitely made his mark in the mask world and it seems as if he’s just getting warmed up. Sam was nice enough to take some time out to do this interview with The H.M.A., and I hope you’ll enjoy it.
